Steve Wright began as a framing contractor in 1976, with Wright Builders soon becoming a premier framing source in the Central Texas Area. In 1999, Steve earned the National Association of Homebuilder’s Graduate Master Builder designation. Steve was also honored as the Small Business Person of the Year by the Temple Chamber of Commerce.

William "Dub" Harris - Project Manager

“Dub” Harris has worked with Wright Builders since 1999. His 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including 20 years of building construction project management have made him a valuable addition to our staff. He meets with prospective customers to discuss upcoming projects and oversees the estimating process on current jobs. Dub works effectively on projects from inception to completion to ensure that they stay on schedule through in-field supervision, sub-contractor scheduling, and by maintaining constant contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
Patrick Johnson - Job Superintendent

Patrick Johnson began his career with Wright Builders in 2006. He is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design (Construction Management.) Patrick’s job duties include overseeing construction projects in the field, scheduling subcontractors and vendors, purchasing and communications with clients including job site walk-throughs. Patrick’s cheerful personality and youthful exuberance are a welcome asset and represent the next generation of Wright Builder’s exceptional personnel.
Joe Laird - Estimator

Joe Laird joined the Wright Builders team in 2008. He brings with him 15 years of experience in the Construction Industry. Joe is responsible for estimating all new construction and remodeling projects for Wright Builders. This process entails meeting subcontractors and vendors at job sites to obtain “hard bids” for their portion of the work. These numbers are tabulated to provide the prospective customer with an accurate projection of the total cost for their project.
Lana Jordan - Office Manager

Lana Jordan is the friendly voice you hear most often when calling Wright Builders. She also greets clients and sub-contractors in the office. Lana has been employed with Wright Builders since 2007. Lana has 27 years of experience in accounting. She is responsible for creating and maintaining up to date job files, processing invoices for payment, managing all sub-contractor insurance documentation, job costing, preparing monthly draw statements.
Donna Wright - Accounting Manager

Donna Wright is married to Steve Wright. She came to work with Wright Builders in 2008 after 27 years in the Credit Union Industry. She is responsible for all comptroller and accounting functions including payroll and tax reporting, employee benefits administration, accounts receivable/payable, and preparation of financial statements.
