OUR PROCESS
Making Your Life Easier
Wright Builders strives to make your building experience
as smooth and comfortable as possible. We have outlined a
schedule of events to eliminate confusion and streamline this
process.
1) DEFINING YOUR BUDGET
A preliminary meeting should be scheduled with your lender
to determine your budget and establish a price range for your
new home. We would be pleased to evaluate lending options
with you.
2) SITE LOCATION – PURCHASING YOUR LOT
Several issues should be considered when making your final
lot selection – pricing, site characteristics, utility
service, topography, soil condition, and school district.
3) CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
(BLUEPRINTS)
To produce the best product possible, blueprints or construction
drawings are a necessity. Drawings can be produced by a draftsman,
designer or architect. Pricing varies and is dependant upon
the size and complexity of the project. We will evaluate your
project and offer a recommendation as to which company will
best fit your project need.
4)
SPECIFICATIONS
A meeting will be scheduled with our estimator and professional
staff to determine your specific criteria, clearly defining
the scope of work to be performed. This meeting is very detailed,
to confirm all amenities you wish to include in your new
home.
The type of items we discuss will be things such
as windows and doors; flooring options
(carpet, ceramic tile, scored and stained concrete, vinyl,
etc.); wall
texture requests; paint- or stain-grade cabinets; custom-made
or pre-finished cabinets; countertop materials (laminate,
ceramic tile, solid-surface material, natural rock surface);
etc.
5) ESTIMATE
All estimates are "hard bid". All sub-contractors
physically bid each job. This process eliminates
any confusion relative to cost and enables Wright Builders
to provide the client an accurate assessment of their project.
6) FINANCING
The written proposal and final blueprints are presented
to the lending institution for financing. Typically, there
is an interim and a permanent loan established prior to construction.
The lender will provide information for all closing costs
relative to the buyers’ position. All legal documents
and paperwork are finalized and signed prior to construction.
7) CONSTRUCTION
The building process begins. Communication is essential.
Meetings between the project manager and the customer will
be conducted on a regular basis. The project manager maintains
constant contact with sub-contractors to ensure that work
is done accurately and progresses on schedule.
8) COMPLETION
A final walk-through with the client and project manager
will determine any last minute touch-ups. A list of items
to be addressed is written and immediately resolved prior
to closing.
